As JRLC gears up for the next session, we're reflecting on recent successes.

This past year, we helped win a $40 million increase in homelessness prevention funding and $100 million in housing infrastructure bonds. Working with partners, we also stopped the expansion of online sports gambling, including a ban on predatory prediction markets. Many of you spoke up when we asked you to contact your legislators.

Not everything crossed the finish line — which is why what comes next matters.

JRLC is now discerning our 2027 priorities against our three pillars: human dignity, family economic security and wellbeing, and civil participation in public discourse. We'll finalize and announce our priority issues shortly after the election.

Be part of what's next: volunteer your time and voice. Watch for opportunities to advocate alongside us for the common good of Minnesotans.

In service,

Melissa DeBilzan
Executive Director
