Now that the election has given us a clearer picture of who will represent us at the state Capitol next year, JRLC is turning toward the 2027 legislative session with a clear sense of purpose.

At the heart of this work is a shared calling to care for the least of these — the most vulnerable among us, the overlooked, and those with the least power.

To that end, we invite you to join us for two important events:

2027 Faith Leaders Summit: One Minnesota, United for Good
Wednesday, January 13, 2027 — Minnesota State Capitol, the Vault
9:00–10:30 a.m.

Join JRLC to begin the session grounded in prayer and partnership. This event brings together legislators, legislative staff, and leaders from Minnesota's faith communities who share a commitment to the common good.

Gather with us for brief remarks and a short prayer, followed by food and fellowship. It's that simple.

Who should attend? Anyone who considers themselves a leader in their religious community or congregation — clergy and lay leaders alike. If you guide, gather, or serve a faith community in Minnesota, this summit is for you. No professional title required; all faiths and political parties are welcome.

2027 Day on the Hill
March 15, 2027 — Minnesota State Capitol
10 a.m.–2:30 p.m.

Mark your calendar now for our Day on the Hill, when people of faith will gather to make our shared voice heard and meet briefly with our own legislators. JRLC will provide advocacy training and set up group or individual meetings with legislators. All you need to do is show up.
