Rachel came to JRLC as a Lutheran Volunteer Corp Volunteer and served for a year as the organization's Advocacy Associate, after which she was hired as a full time employee. At JRLC her work focuses on developing communications and program initiatives, especially for the Interfaith Children's Advocacy Network. Prior to JRLC she worked as the Communications and Marketing Fellow at the Women's Funding Network in San Francisco. Rachel received her Bachelor's degree from Pacific Lutheran University in Tacoma, Washington in Political Science and Global Studies with an emphasis in Responses to International Conflict and Violence and a Minor in German. During her college career, she studied abroad in Namibia where she completed an internship with the Namibia Women's Centre in Windhoek, Namibia. |
