iCAN on the Road: Detroit Lakes Children's Sabbath
On Wednesday, October 26, we gathered in Detroit Lakes where Rev. Mark Kuether and the Detroit Lakes Congregational Church hosted iCAN for a Children's Sabbath forum. We discussed the impact of the rising child poverty rate in Minnesota and how this issue is being faced in local communities.   • Protecting Dignity, Ending Slavery: A Discussion on Human Trafficking in Minnesota - Monday, February 27, 2012 at 6:30pm - Panel Discussion on Human Trafficking in Minnesota hosted by iCAN and The Center for Wholeness at Presbyterian Church of the Apostles. Experts on the issue in Minnesota will discuss recent data on human trafficking in our community, legislation that has already been passed, and what needs to be done to end trafficking in our state. Location: Presbyterian Church of the Apostles in Burnsville, 701 E. 130th St.
